Movie News

Steve Jobs – First Look!

The first look at the “Steve Jobs” movie from Universal finally hits the web. The teaser trailer hints the movie has all the makings of being critically acclaimed. The film itself will center on a behind the scenes look at 3 monumental product launches ending in the release of the iMac in 1998.

The film is directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog  Millionaire, Trainspotting, 127 Hours) and written by Aaron Sorkin (A Few Good Men, The Social Network, Moneyball). Starring Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogan, and Jeff Daniels; “Steve Jobs” opens in theaters on October 9, 2015.

The Hunt Is On! (Spoilers Ahead)

Captain America: Civil War details follow so be warned that there are SPOILERS AHEAD!

Details of the role that Black Panther will play in Captain America: Civil War have surfaced and it’s nothing short of thrilling. When we left Cap in Winter Soldier, he was on the search for Bucky Barnes (The Winter Soldier). If you were listening in on the party scene in Avengers 2, you’ll remember that Cap and Falcon were discussing their missing person’s case chasing cold leads. Looks like Bucky’s past will catch up to him in the next Captain America film. A past that has placed him in the sights of the Black Panther!

Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood has taken to the web to state that Black Panther is on the hunt for the once Winter Soldier. Now we can leave this as conjecture, but Gonzalez has proven time and time again that he is a reputable source in these matters, so I’m definitely going to lean on this one. If this is the case, we’re in for an action pack Captain America movie. The spy thriller is still in full effect, and I’m all in if this is how we get introduced to T’Challa. Expect a face off between the Panther and the Soldier. It makes perfect sense that they would face off at the beginning. It’s the fight that brings them to a mutual respect. I mean, Black Panther held down the title of Captain America for a bit while Steve was out of commission for a bit in the comics.

Joker And Harley Quinn

First look at Jared Leto (Joker) on set with Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) for Suicide Squad. There’s really nothing left to say her but they look  good. Looks like another flashback scene for Quinn. Maybe a pivotal moment for her leading up to her “recruitment”. Take a Look.

Doomsday Cometh

doomsday-dcLooks like another scoop from Umberto Gonzalez on the villains of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The tool that Lex Luthor will be using to combat Superman will be the murder machine Doomsday. If this is the case, there could be a lot to look forward to with this movie come next year. I doubt they’ll go as far as to kill Superman in this film, but it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Web Finds: Marvel Vs. DC

That’s pretty much all the news for today, but I’d be remiss not to share with you this little nugget of fan love I found the interwebs today. A fan animated film that is a major crossover for Marvel and D.C. Watch your favorite characters duke it out in the short. It’s a fun idea that someone brought to fruition and it’s nice to see it take shape. I’m sure he used several gaming engines to create these characters. looks like MK vs. DC is used, The Wolverine, The Amazing Spiderman, and others. Take a look and enjoy.

Well, that’s all the news we have for today. Tell us what you think in the comments below, we’d love to hear from you.
