TV News

Scream Queens Trailer

Let me be honest I’m not a big fan of horror films in generally, but I can get with psycho killer horror sometimes, and this new series (Scream Queens) has my interest piqued. The series itself will center on a string of vicious murders set in a sorority house. The show stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels, Billie Lourd, Diego Boneta, Lucien Laviscount, Glen Powell. Scream Queens starts this fall on Fox. Check out the trailer below.

Movie News

Amy Trailer

A documentary following the life of Amy Winehouse. Hitting theaters July 3, 2015. It’ll be great to take a look at a person who you’ve only seen on the surface. Take a look at the trailer below.

Ant-Man Publicity Continues

Hope you checked out the latest issue of Wired. It has an interesting photo of the history of George Lucas’ CGI shop. Check out who’s in the “I”. That’s a good way to gain interest in the until the movie comes out. Marvel has been doing a great job marketing in a way that garners attention but isn’t too overwhelming.

Star Lord In Other Marvel Movies?

In a recent interview with GQ, Chris Pratt was asked questions about his Marvel contract and his response was definitely an interesting one.

… I’m tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know. Two more Guardians plus another couple…

So you know we most likely will be seeing at least Star Lord in other Marvel films outside of Guardians of the Galaxy. The interview itself is pretty awesome, outside of the Guardians news. Pratt is a silly guy that has a real grounded mentality. It’s refreshing, so if you have a moment check out the whole interview on GQ.

X-Men: Apocolypse – Psylock

Small piece of movie news that sometimes proves it’s the little things that count. A recent tweet question by a fan ask The hair designer on the film (Felix Lariviere) whether or not the characters (for those that this applies to) will have the hairstyles they don in the comics. The fan received a prompt answer:

Sounds great looks like most of the characters will maintain the classic looks that we’ve grown accustomed too. Small detail, right? It’s the little things that count.

Finding Dory

Looks like some information for Disney/Pixar upcoming films has made its way to the Cannes Festival. Looks like the story is a sequel and will follow Marlin and Dory.

The story picks up six months after the events of the first film, which ended with Marlin, Dory and Nemo living joyously on the reef. In the sequel, Dory will learn about migration instincts and set off to find her family, with Nemo and Marlin in tow.

Ellen DeGeneres returns as Dory and Albert Brooks will reprise his role of Marlin. They will be joined by new comers Diane Keaton (as Dory’s mother, Jenny), Eugene Levy (Dory’s Father, Charley), Ty Burrell (A Beluga Whale named Bailey) and Kaitlin Olson (Dory’s Adopted Killer Whale Sister). Dominic West and Idris Elba will also be in the film, but their roles are unkown at this time.

Gaming News

All LEGO Everything!

LEGO is slowly but surely taking over and it’s going to be epic fun. They’re taking on Spyro Skylanders, Nintendo Amiibo, and Disney Infinity with their latest creation LEGO Dimensions. It’s bridging the many LEGO worlds and properties into one large world it seems. Marvel and DC character, Movie Classics, and already established LEGO worlds collide in this game. Check out one of my favorite cinematic characters, Doc Brown (from Back to the Future) get LEGO’d in this trailer.

God Of War III (Remastered) Boss Battle

I loved this game when it was out, and now they’re making a remastered version of the classic for next-gen consoles. Watch Kratos lay the smack down on Hades in this feature. Turn it up to the highest HD if you have it!

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate “Welcome To The Family”

The folks over at Ubiblog put up an interview of the Senior Producer, Francois Pelland, answering questions regarding the new game aimed for release in December. The game follows the Frye twins as they seek to take over gangs in the Industrial Age of London (75 years after the last installment AC Unity). The gameplay is much different this time around as we get closer to the modern age and technology advances. New vehicles are introduced as well as a new way to traverse the environment (grappling hooks). Check the trailer below for more.

M. Bison Trailer For Street Fighter 5

Beware his Psycho Power! Bison is Back in the Street Fighter 5 reveal trailer. He’s looking good: menacing long coat, new upgrades to his abilities. I’m looking forward to this one. The franchise has been going strong for a long time and I’m eager to see this latest installment. Trailer Below.
