Scott Eastwood’s Cameo Role in Suicide Squad
Scott Eastwood is Cast as Steve Trevor
Looks like more news has come out following our GNOD on yesterday concerning the Suicide Squad casting news. Scott Eastwood has been officially announced as having the role of Steve Trevor in the Suicide Squad.
Trevor, in the comics, is a supporting character from the Wonder Woman series and is instrumental in her coming into the D.C. frame. Originally, Trevor crash lands on Diana’s (Wonder Woman’s) home island of Themyscira. She nurses him back to health and falls in love with him and follows him back to the outside world and they battle baddies together. In the latest incarnations of Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman, the romantic angle between them is not explored, but Trevor is an agent of A.R.G.U.S. ((Advanced Research Group for Uniting Super-Humans). This current adaptation of the character is what is believed to be the angle in which they’ll be approaching I believe.
Suicide Squad will be the second film that Eastwood has done with director David Ayers and should be an interesting piece in the D.C. Cinematic Universe.
